How to Track Your MEPCO New Connection Application Status
If you have already submitted a new meter application online or at your Sub-Divisional Office (SDO), you can track your MEPCO new connection status in real time:
Step 1: Open Official ENC Portal
Go to the official Electricity New Connection (ENC) portal (enc.com.pk) and select the Track option from the top navigation bar.
Step 2: Enter Application ID or CNIC
Select MEPCO as your distribution company, choose your connection category (New Connection), and type your unique Application Tracking ID or applicant CNIC number.
Step 3: Review Approval Stage
The screen will display your live application stage (Document Verification, Feasibility Inspection, Demand Notice Issued, Demand Notice Paid, Service Line Installation, Meter Energized).
📄 Documents Required for MEPCO New Meter Application
- ✓ Attested copy of applicant's CNIC
- ✓ Attested copy of witness CNIC
- ✓ Proof of ownership (Registry, Fard, or Allotment Letter)
- ✓ Copy of neighbor's active MEPCO reference bill
- ✓ NOC from property owner (if leased/rented)
- ✓ Wiring test report from certified electric contractor
Step-by-Step Application Process
Online Application Submission
Visit the official Electricity New Connection portal (ENC) and fill out the online application form for MEPCO. Select your relevant sub-division and category (Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, or Agricultural).
Document Upload
Scan and upload high-quality copies of applicant CNIC, proof of property ownership (Registry / Fard / Allotment Letter), witness CNIC, and neighbor's MEPCO bill copy.
Site Inspection & Demand Notice
A MEPCO site inspector will visit the premises to verify load requirements and issue an official Demand Notice fee slip.
Demand Notice Payment & Installation
Pay the Demand Notice fee at an authorized bank branch. Submit the paid receipt back to your sub-divisional office for meter installation.
