Where to Find Your MEPCO Reference Number & Consumer ID

Locate your 14-digit reference number or 7-digit consumer ID on physical MEPCO bill paper to check your duplicate invoice online.

1. Locating the 14-Digit MEPCO Bill Reference Number

Every MEPCO electricity account in South Punjab is assigned a 14-digit reference number. On a printed paper bill, this code is located in the upper central header inside a box labeled REFERENCE NO.

Example Reference Number Format:
15 15412 1234500 R

Note: Printed bills often include a trailing letter (like 'R' for Rural or 'U' for Urban). When checking your bill online on our site, enter only the 14 numeric digits (e.g. 15154121234500).

2. Locating the 7-Digit Consumer ID

Printed right next to or directly below the reference box is your 7-digit Consumer ID (e.g. 1234567). Consumer IDs are heavily used for mobile banking applications (JazzCash, Easypaisa, 1Link banking apps).
